INTRO
CHORUS
If there were never any heaven, ever
If there were never any streets of gold
And if I never get to live forever
In the city where we won’t grow old
It’s been worth having Jesus
It’s been worth serving the Lord
It’s been worth loving Jesus
It’s been worth going to church
And when we get to heaven we’re gonna be together
My family and my friends we’re gonna sing forever
INTERLUDE
VERSE 1
You may ask me why I serve the Lord
Is it just for heaven’s gain?
Or to walk those mighty streets of gold
And to hear the angels sing
Is it just a drink from that fountain
That never shall run dry
Or just to live forever
Live forever and ever
In that sweet old by and by
CHORUS
If there were never any heaven, ever
If there were never any streets of gold
And if I never get to live forever
In the city where we won’t grow old
It’s been worth having Jesus
It’s been worth serving the Lord
It’s been worth loving Jesus
It’s been worth going to church
And when we get to heaven we’re gonna be together
My family and my friends we’re gonna sing forever
INTERLUDE
VERSE 2
I was living in a world of darkness
He came along and brought me the light
I was living in this world of darkness
But He came and He brought me the light
I was living in a world of darkness
He came along and brought me the light
I was living in this world of darkness
But He came and brought me the light
CHORUS
If there were never any heaven, ever
If there were never any streets of gold
And if I never get to live forever
In the city where we won’t grow old
It’s been worth having Jesus
It’s been worth serving the Lord
It’s been worth loving Jesus
It’s been worth going to church
And when we get to heaven we’re gonna be together
My family and my friends we’re gonna sing forever
INTERLUDE
CHORUS
It’s been worth having Jesus
It’s been worth serving the Lord
It’s been worth loving Jesus
It’s been worth going to church
And when we get to heaven we’re gonna be together
My family and my friends we’re gonna sing forever
It’s been worth having Jesus
It’s been worth serving the Lord
It’s been worth loving Jesus
It’s been worth going to church
And when we get to heaven we’re gonna be together
My family and my friends we’re gonna sing forever
It’s been worth having Jesus
It’s been worth serving the Lord
It’s been worth loving Jesus
It’s been worth going to church
And when we get to heaven we’re gonna be together
My family and my friends we’re gonna sing forever
It’s been worth having Jesus

It’s been worth loving Jesus
It’s been worth going to church
And when we get to heaven we’re gonna be together
