VERSE 1
Jesus said
The kingdom of God
Is like a mustard seed
The least of all the seeds
But when it is grown
Becomes a mighty tree
The birds come and rest
Yeah! Yeah!
There are many things
They start out small
You may miss them
You may ignore them
Oh you must respect
The mystery of the mustard seed
It becomes a mighty tree
Yeah! Yeah!
INTERLUDE
VERSE 3
Jesus said
The kingdom of God
Like a mustard seed
A very small word
In a small book
Or in a little song
It’s another mustard seed
Yeah! Yeah!
MODULATION
VERSE 4
You must recognise
The mustard seeds
When you see a young missionary like me
Starting a church somewhere,
Starting out so small
It will become a mighty tree
Yeah! Yeah!
Jesus said
The kingdom of God
Is like a mustard seed
The least of all the seeds
But when it is grown
Becomes a mighty tree
The birds come and rest
Yeah! Yeah!
