Intro

INTERLUDE

(Help me)

CHORUS

Why do you wait

Why wait so long

To give your life to Jesus

Why wait so long

Jesus is calling

Why wait so long?

You must say yes

Why wait so long?

(Oh, I am)

VERSE 1

God is calling you

He wants you to come to Him

To be His servant

He saved you and He called you

You have to answer the call

Don’t stay away

No, don’t stay away

It’s time to obey

Say yes to the call of God

CHORUS

So why do you wait

To give your life to Jesus

My Jesus is calling

You must say yes, Lord

Why wait so long

(Oh, yeah)

VERSE 2

It’s time, my friend

Time to heed the call

(Oh, yeah)

There’s a time for everything

A time to say yes, Lord

(Oh, my)

A time to yield yourself

A time to flow

A time to humble yourself

Under the mighty hand of God

CHORUS

So why do you wait

To give your life to Jesus

Jesus, my Jesus is calling

You must say yes, Lord

Don’t wait (×5)

(Again)

VERSE 3

Now I see the Lord

Lord, standing by your side

He’s whispering in your ear

Saying, "Come over, my child"

Come and work for me

Give up everything (everything)

Just like the apostles did

(Oh, yeah)

They gave up everything to follow me

CHORUS

So why do you wait?

Why wait so long?

To give your life to Jesus

Why wait so long?

My Jesus is calling (is calling)

You must say yes

Why wait so long?

(Oh, yeah)

But according to His purpose and grace

It’s time to humble yourself

Under the mighty hand of God

(Oh, oh, oh, yeah)

CHORUS

So why do you wait?

Why wait so long?

Come on and give your life to Him (yeah)

My Jesus is calling (he’s calling)
