I Am the Way, the Truth, the Life

VERSE 1

Let not your heart be troubled:

Believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father’s house

Are many mansions:

If it were not so,

I would have told you

I go to prepare a place for you.

Jesus said

I am the way, the truth, the life

VERSE 2

If I go and prepare a place for you,

I will come again for you

And I will receive you unto myself;

That where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know,

And the way ye know.

Jesus said,

I am the way, the truth, and the life:

BRIDGE

This is the only way to Heaven

The only way to God

This is the way that we all must go

Getting near to Jesus

Pressing to be close

Through Jesus

VERSE 3

If ye had known me,

Ye should have known my Father too

He that hath seen me

Hath seen the Father too

And how sayest thou then,

Shew us the Father?

But by me.
