CHORUS
Jesus Christ is the solid rock
Rains came down the floods came up
Jesus Christ is the solid rock
Rains came down the floods came up
Building my house on a solid rock
Rains came down and the floods came up
Building my house on a solid rock
Rains came down and the floods came up
INTERLUDE
VERSE 1
Jesus said; Jesus said
Enter in at the narrow gate:
Wide is the gate, broad is the way,
That leads to hell that leads to hell
Jesus said Jesus said
Strait is the gate, narrow is the way,
That leads to life, leads to life
Few there be that find the way
CHORUS
Jesus Christ is the solid rock
Rains came down the floods came up
Jesus Christ is the solid rock
Rains came down the floods came up
Building my house on a solid rock
Rains came down and the floods came up
Building my house on a solid rock
Rains came down and the floods came up
VERSE 2
Jesus said, Jesus said
Heaven and earth shall pass away,
Jesus said Jesus said
But my words shall never pass away.
Whosoever shall break one of these commands
He shall be the least in the kingdom of God
Whoever shall teach the word
Shall be great in the kingdom of God
CHORUS
Jesus Christ is the solid rock
Rains came down the floods came up
Jesus Christ is the solid rock
Rains came down the floods came up
Building my house on a solid rock
Rains came down and the floods came up
Building my house on a solid rock
Rains came down and the floods came up
