Books Are a Blessing

INTRO

I saw a mighty angel

Come down from heaven

Clothed with a cloud and a rainbow

And his face as the sun,

And his feet like pillars of fire

VERSE 2

He said to me

Go and take the book from the hand of the angel

Take the little book and eat it up

It will be sweet in your mouth

But in your belly, it will be bitter

CHORUS 1

Books are a blessing

Parchments make all the difference

For your life and your life’s work

Books put you face to face

With your prophet and your teacher

You’ll have revelation, the anointing of the Spirit

The wisdom and understanding

When your word comes

Your life and your ministry will change

You’ll prophesy

To many people in many tongues

You’ll be a teacher to the nations

A teacher of kings

By the anointing

Books are a blessing

Parchments make all the difference

For your life and your life’s work

Books put you face to face

With your prophet and your teacher

You’ll have revelation, the anointing of the Spirit

The wisdom and understanding

When your word comes

Your life and your ministry will change

Books are a blessing a blessing a blessing

Books bring the anointing, the anointing, the anointing

A blessing.... A real blessing!
