I waited on the Lord

To hear his gentle voice

For guidance and direction where to go

I opened up my heart to know the perfect will of God

His will is what I need, his perfect will

As I spent so many hours in the presence of the Lord

I calmed down and began to hear his voice

The mysteries of your will

At the crossroads of my life

No other voice compares oh no!

It’s the sweetest sound my heart has ever heard

The spirit entered into me

When he spake to me

The words he spoke to me

They were spirit, they were life

The visions and dreams oh how they turned my life around

And brought direction for my ministry

There was a mantle now on me

I had found grace for mighty works

And I will never, never be the same
