I Will Build Your Church

INTRO

Thus saith the Lord oh yeah

Consider your ways uh yeah

Go up to the mountain

Bring the wood and build the house of God

I will take pleasure and be glorified in it

That is my will for you oh my child

I will build my house upon this rock

The gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven

What you bind on earth is bound in heaven

Will you build the church

Will you build my house

Will you be like Nehemiah

And build the house of God

I will build your church

I will build your house

Be like Nehemiah

And build the house of God

Yes, I will build your house

INTERLUDE

Earning wages to put in a bag of holes

Looking for much but getting very little

You have sown so much but you reap so little

Because of my house that lieth waste

You dwell in your own house

But my house is not built

It is time to build my house ooh child

I will build my house upon this rock

The gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven

What you bind on earth is bound in heaven

Will you build the church

Will you build my house

Will you be like Nehemiah

Will you build the house of God

I will build your church

I will build your house

Be like Nehemiah

And build the house of God

Yes, I will build your house

INTERLUDE

Building building building building the house of God

Building building building building the church of God

Like Ezra, Nehemiah, and in the days of Zechariah

And like Zerubbabel

INTERLUDE

I’ll be building your house oh Lord

I will build my house upon this rock

The gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven

What you bind on earth is bound in heaven

Will you build my church

Will you build my house

Will you be like Nehemiah

Will you build the house of God

I will build your church

I will build your house

Be like Nehemiah

And build the house of God

Yes, I will build your house

INTERLUDE

Building building building building the house of God

Building building building building the church of God

Like Ezra, Nehemiah, and in the days of Zechariah

And like Zerubbabel

I’ll be building your house oh Lord

INTERLUDE

I will build my house upon this rock

The gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven

What you bind on earth is bound in heaven

CHORUS

Will you build my church

Will you build my house

Will you be like Nehemiah

Who built the house of God

I will build your church

I will build your house

Be like Nehemiah

And build the house of God

Yes, I will build your house
